How Our Endorsement Process Works

Trailblazers of Tomorrow has a unique endorsement making process. Candidates are sent a questionnaire and our Executive Board decides on who to endorse for a particular race. During the decision making process, or “Deliberation”, our Executive Board meets and discusses the candidates and their answers to the questionnaire. When the Executive Board is ready for a vote, the four members cast their vote for who should be endorsed. In the event that the vote ends in a tie, the Chairman will break the tie. This is the only time the Chairman can vote. Additionally, Executive Board members have the ability to abstain from voting in a particular race. In the event that no candidate in a race receives a majority of the votes, no endorsement is to be made.
